Vogelsang will launch a larger version of its XSplit screw press slurry separator at Agritechnica. Developed for larger farms and biogas operations, the XS30-80 is said to offer throughputs of up to 175cu m/hr, capable of handling dry matter levels of up to 40%.
It features a modular, three-part sieve, reducing the maintenance demands as only worn components need to be replaced, rather than the full separating unit. Using the hydraulic VarioAdjust system, the contact pressure can be adjusted during operation, allowing the dry matter content to be changed on the fly.
To complement the new separators, the company will also introduce the LoadMaster pump and the VX high output rotary lobe pump, the latter of which offers a 15,000 litre/min output with an integrated injection system that protects the pump from foreign objects.
