Finnish motion and control technology specialist, Parker Hannifin has expanded its ISOBUS suite software by introducing the full version of its ISOBUS Task Controller (TC) for standardised work management on agricultural vehicles such as tractors, harvesters and other self-propelled machinery.

The ISOBUS TC functions as a link between Farm Management Information System (FMIS) software and implements controls on the vehicle, managing tasks and issuing accurate documentation of completed work and other relevant data. The major benefits are said to be more precise and effective farming work, with reductions in costs and time.

It can also gather geo-referenced data using GPS, making it possible to use variable rate prescription maps and section control to increase accuracy.

Parker’s ISOBUS TC is said to feature an easy to use interface for intuitive and simple configuration and control. It features clear product assignment controls and drag and drop functionality.

The company’s ISOBUS suite also includes an application for the ISOBUS Universal Terminal and a file server to facilitate easy data transfer. The Parker Pro Display HMI brings all these functions together into one terminal to suit all ISOBUS compatible machinery combinations.

The applications within the terminal are scalable and can adapt their functions to the available space, allowing the display to be adjusted to suit the specific task. Each app can also be used in landscape or portrait orientations, and the terminal can be mounted either horizontally or vertically depending on available cab space.

If required, the Parker ISOBUS suite can be integrated with applications from OEMs.

In a proprietary development, Pro Display can also serve as the vehicles main HMI display. With Pro Display, OEMs are able to deploy customised functions, such as machine functionality, work management diagnostics, data monitoring and visualization, as well as infotainment and entertainment. Parker also provides the UX Toolkit programming tool for easy development of new apps.

The Parker ISOBUS Suite is available for Pro Display 10 inch and 12 inch displays.
