Initially designed with developing markets in mind, Househam Sprayers has launched the Ecostar 2 trailed sprayer, offered with an entry-level specification, minimal maintenance and affordability.

All hydraulic and electrical connections are located at the front of the machine for quick operation of essential functions such as boom fold, tilt and lift using just two hydraulic spool valves.

It features a suspended axle for improved transport, with the optional self-levelling system requiring a simple air connection to the tractor. Integrated auto-rate control comprises a five-section Teejet 845 controller, with the option to increase this to seven or nine sections. Automatic section control is also available on request.

The 200 litres per minute spray pump is PTO driven and mounted at the front of the machine, with the option of a 260-litre unit if required. At the filling point, manual taps handle filling, spraying, rinsing and induction, with a 25-litre hopper and the option of a 40-litre model.

Boom width is 24m as standard, complete with blue LED boom lights and additional optional lighting packages. The base capacity is 3,000 litres, with smaller 2,500 and 2,000-litre options available.
