Lamma saw the UK debut of the MF 5S with the Dyna-VT continuously variable gearbox, available on the Efficient and Exclusive specification machines along with the Dyna-4 and Dyna-6 powershift boxes.
The single-range, Agco-built transmission has a 40kph top speed, achievable at 1,550rpm, and operators can save two virtual speed ranges and recalled using the control lever.
Dyna-VT machines have the same 2,550mm wheelbase but are slightly heavier, leading to a 500kg increase in the gross vehicle weight to 9,000kg.
The five models offer power outputs from 105hp up to 145hp, each with a 6,000kg rear linkage, load-sensing hydraulics with a maximum output of 110 litres/min, with control of the first and second spools through a micro joystick on the Multipad lever.
Mechanical control of the third and fourth valves is mechanical on the Efficient specification, or electronic on the Exclusive.
The optional front linkage can lift up to 3,000kg, and a range of Massey Ferguson front loaders can be specified.
