The All Steel radial tanker and trailer tyre, the Powertrailer SR 331, has been launched by BKT. It is designed specifically for road operations, according to the company.
“Powertrailer SR 331 is a highly innovative and superb solution in terms of performance, especially on the road, exceeding our expectations and showcasing BKT’s commitment to providing high-quality products. By means of this new tyre, we want to ensure a superior end-user experience.
“In fact, compared to similar solutions available on the market, Powertrailer SR 331 distinguishes itself for its durability and strength, but it actually stands out for fuel economy. This is a positive contribution in favour of the environment,” said Piero Torassa, field engineering manager at BKT.
According to the company, it features good flotation properties, to minimise soil compaction when taken on the field, and low rolling resistance to limit fuel consumption. The All Steel construction also ensures good stability at high speeds and the ability to carry high load capacities, while a newly developed sidewall rib is said to protect against impacts and rubbing.
