Bridgestone is expanding its agricultural offering with six extra-large additions to its VT-Tractor range.
“Today, farmers operate larger, more powerful tractors and need tyres that can keep up – doing more and going further in demanding conditions,” said Andrea Marconcini, director agriculture at Bridgestone EMEA.
“Our updated VT-Tractor range is engineered to enable faster, more efficient work in the field, together with a longer service life that reduces long-term costs.”
The new VT-Tractor XXL models span from 38in to 46in rim diameters. Designed using 3D simulators, the tyres incorporate a deeper tread depth and wider lugs. A new patented design is said to provide up to 12% more lug volume than competitive tyres.
It also features the company’s S-Line bead profile, which offers greater flexibility at low pressures but remains durable under heavy loads. This is combined with a high durability casing that evenly distributes pressure.
The new range is compatible with central tyre inflation systems and will be produced in the Puente San Miguel plant in Spain. Models are being introduced now.
