Trelleborg to launch new tyre at Agritechnica

Trelleborg has announced a new tyre, which the company says sets new industry standards for its sustainability and performance.

The TM1 Eco Power is made from 65% recycled and bio materials and is engineered for the new generation of electric tractors, with a new design that minimises rolling resistance to maximise battery life.

Alessio Bucci, product marketing senior manager at Yokohama TWS said: “We are proud to be setting new tyre standards with the introduction of advanced solutions like our TM1 Eco Power tyres. Agriculture is currently undergoing a major transformation, calling for greater sustainability and productivity.

“We’re working to answer this call by bringing state-of-the-art technology for increased performance to tyre solutions designed to make a difference in day-to-day customer operations – starting with our TM1 Eco Power, the most sustainable tyre choice.”

The TM1 Eco Power was designed together with OE partner Fendt for the e107 Vario and is available in 280/70 R16 and 380/70 R24 sizes. The new tread design is said to offer superior traction thanks to its self-cleaning capabilities, with constant rubber contact for low rolling resistance on the road.

Trelleborg will showcase the new tyre, as well as the rest of its product innovations at Agritechnica from the 12th to the 18th of November. For more information go to www.trelleborg-tyres.com
