David Pool joins QuickTag as a Area Sales Manager for Scotland and lives in Langholm, Dumfriesshire with his wife Christine and they have two boys.

David has been in sales for over 25 years mainly in the textile trade where he travelled all over the UK, Europe and the USA.

For the past five years David has been a Territory Manager for Murray Farmcare Ltd visiting farmers and giving advice and selling a wide range of veterinary, animal health, dairy and nutritional products. He is fully AMTRA SQP qualified.

“I am delighted and excited to be joining QuickTag and looking forward to the challenge ahead. I have sold a number of its products direct to farmers over the years so fully aware of the quality of the brand.

“I enjoy meeting new people and building up relationships with customers and so I look forward to getting out on the road and being introduced to the QuickTag distributers throughout Scotland.

Tim Rees is UK Sales Manager for QuickTag: “We welcome David to our ever expanding team since we joined forces with Datamars recently. We are continuing to expand our product range so having David in Scotland means we can increase our presence in this important part of the UK

David is passionate about sport especially football, rugby, golf and cricket, all of which he has played at one time to a reasonable standard. Today he still likes a round of golf and umpires for Langholm Cricket club as well as being its chairman.

David is a published freelance writer having contributed to a number of magazines over the years, mainly on historical subjects and is a regular public speaker on both sides of the Border.

He has a great interest in local history, reading, poetry and music and he breeds exhibits and judges Fife Fancy Canaries.

David can be contacted on 07436287209. His email address is davidpool@quicktag.co.uk
