Hi-Spec to introduce new diet feeder at Royal Highland

The Royal Highland Show will see the latest generation diet feeders from Hi-Spec on display.

Offering an extensive portfolio of single and twin-auger machines, the range extends from 7cu m up to 32cu m, with a variety of options including electrohydraulic controls, cross elevators and two-speed gearboxes.

The new generation can also be easily retrofitted with extensions, allowing customers to adapt to an increase in herd size without significant capital investment.

    New gen slurry tankers

The company will also highlight its range of slurry tankers, with a 3000 SA-R and a 3500 TS-R on the stand.

The TS-R is the most recent addition to the range, with a fully commercial axle and 710/50 R26.5 BKT tyres. According to the company, the combination of narrower tyres with a higher rolling resistance keeps soil compaction to a minimum, while the semi-recessed mudguard design lowers the overall width and height of the machine.

On the stand, customers will be able to see the 14,000 litres/min Jurop vacuum pump, as well as the options of a centralised greasing system for the running gear, a 6in autofill system and the 360deg unloading boom.
