Corteva to hold celebration at Cereals

Five years after it launched as a global agricultural company, Corteva Agriscience is inviting farmers to join them at Cereals to celebrate the milestone.

Since 2019, the company has introduced a range of products to the UK market and has more innovations in the development pipeline. Corteva’s stand at Cereals will include crop plots and the chance to discuss with product experts about its range of crop protection and seed products. Refreshments and CPD points will also be on offer.

Pioneer winter oilseed rape plots and a series of maize hybrids have been drilled for the event, as well as the Recommended List winter oilseed rape variety PT303 – said to be the first sclerotinia-tolerant hybrid for the UK – which will be demonstrated alongside the NextGen hybrids PT312 and PT315.

From the maize portfolio, Pioneer hybrid P7034 – which is suitable for grain production – and an example of the required combine header for grain maize harvesting will be on show. The team will talk about the PACTS grain trial results that illustrate achievable yields from different areas of the country and the potential of maize for grain across a range of geographies.

Crop protection will also be covered, with discussions and around Univoq, which has been available on farm for three years now. Also being showcased are the cereal herbicides Zypar and Pixxaro – containing ArylexTM active – and Broadway Star.

For oilseed rape growers, Corteva will also discuss its range of herbicides, including Belkar, Astrokerb, Kerb Flo 500, and Korvetto.

Visitors will be able to hear about the company’s new growth nutrition seed treatment, Ympact, which is said to enhance seeding growth and optimise metabolic energy and stress tolerances. There will also be a chance to see BlueN and Kinsidro Grow +, Corteva’s range of biostimulants that have been introduced since the acquisition of Stoller and Symborg.
