Bobcat has added two new Authorised Dealers for the company’s telescopic loader range for the agricultural market in the UK. A&M Group is now responsible for sales and service of Bobcat telescopic loaders in South and West Wales and Powys. Truckmasters Handling Limited is now representing the Bobcat telescopic loader range in Norfolk and Cambridgeshire.

Ewen Gilchrist, network development manager UK & Nordics for Doosan Bobcat EMEA, said: “We are delighted to appoint A&M Group and Truckmasters as new dealers for the Bobcat telescopic loader range. Both companies are very well established and well known in the agricultural sectors in their respective areas. Combining their familiarity with the local market and their dedication and passion for the Bobcat range, I am confident they will be successful in increasing market share for Bobcat in the farming market.”

    A & M Group

The company was founded in 1986 and began operating from premises in Lower Lamphey in Pembrokeshire providing agricultural engineering for local farmers and contractors. With the growth of the business came the need for better coverage in West Wales and this led to the construction of the company’s head office in St Clears in Camarthenshire in 2006. About 10 years later, A & M Group (www.aandm.group) opened a depot in Llandow, which has recently been replaced with a new depot at Bridgend, providing further coverage in South Wales.

Company director, James Atherton, commented: “With our successful track record in the farming market in South and West Wales, we are very pleased to be a new dealer for the Bobcat telescopic loader range in these areas and in Powys. We have already sold Bobcat TL30.60 Agri telescopic loaders to two large dairy farmers in South Wales, who are both very happy with the performance of their new machines.”

    Truckmasters Handling

Truckmasters (www.truckmasters.co.uk) has been in the materials handling business for over 45 years. The company has depots in Wisbech in Cambridgeshire and Norwich in Norfolk. Each of these depots has fully equipped workshops, parts and accessories and highly experienced manufacturer trained engineers. The company’s mobile engineers have fully stocked service vehicles which carry many common parts, so downtime is kept to a minimum.

Graham Elsam, managing director and sales director at Truckmasters, said: “The Bobcat telescopic loader range is a well-designed and well-made product that fits in very well with our customer base. We deal with all sections of the agriculture market in Cambridgeshire and Norfolk from the field and animal farming to packaging and processing and telescopic loaders have a role in every type of activity in the sector.”

A & M Group and Truckmasters will promote the Bobcat range of seven telescopic loader models and attachments for the farming market, covering maximum lifting capacities between 2.6 and 4.3 tonne with lifting heights from 6 to 8 m. Like all Bobcat rigid frame telehandlers, these products are backed by a three year/3000-hour warranty as standard with the option of extending the warranty to five years/6000 hours. Offering over 40 years of expertise in telescopic loaders, the Bobcat range is manufactured at the company’s plant at Pontchâteau (Brittany) in France.

All available as dedicated agricultural machines with finishing to best meet farmers’ needs in terms of productivity and comfort, the Bobcat telescopic loader range is designated using a naming system showing lifting capacity/lifting height performance at a glance:
