CNH dealer Ernest Doe has agreed terms for the sale of its Case IH Ashford depot to Haynes Bros Ltd, with the transfer expected to take place on the 25th of July.
It follows five years of business in the area for Ernest Doe. However, the company acknowledges that two competing dealerships in the area have made long-term growth unviable.
Working with CNH and reviewing the dealer coverage in the revision, the decision has been made to consolidate operations in the Ashford area within the Haynes Bros network.
All Ernest Doe agricultural operations in the area will cease, and staff will be integrated into Haynes Bros. Manufacturer warranty will transfer to the company as well, so customers are invited to open an account with Haynes Bros.
The change will not affect construction or groundcare operations from Ernest Doe, which will continue to operate from depots in Dartford, Esher, Ringmer and Albourne.
