Merlo welcomed their UK dealers to the first in-person conference since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. The event was held in Stratford upon Avon, where Merlo recognised their key dealer partners in an awards ceremony. The Olympic silver medallist Roger Black MBE presented the winners with their awards.
C.T. Hayton was crowned Merlo UK’s Service Dealer of the Year 2021 – a longstanding partner dealer of Merlo UK. John Hayton dedicated the award to the diligent serviceman Richard Birkbeck, for his years of “hard work and dedication.”
Stuart Henry, area manager sales at Merlo UK said of C.T. Hayton: “They have gone over and above our expectations to really look after the Merlo product.”
The winner of Merlo UK’s Parts Dealer of the Year 2021 was South West Handing, who are a key partner dealer for Merlo. The company’s engagement and communication with the parts team has been exemplary and has facilitated their continued usage of Merlo’s cutting-edge tools.
The new dealer C.J. Cox won Merlo UK’s Agriculture Sales Dealer of the Year 2021. C.J. Cox joined Merlo UK in January 2021, exceeding expectations, and becoming fully integrated with the Merlo brand.
Merlo UK’s national UK sales manager, Owen Buttle, said that C.J. Cox has: “Embraced the product and really hit the ground running. In their first year…they’ve just been fantastic.”
Pallisers won Overall Dealer of the Year 2021, having demonstrated a commitment to the Merlo brand through their representation and sales of Merlo’s broad range of products.
