Tallis Amos Group has announced that the Llanllwni depot will be closed permanently on the 24th of December.
The site was opened three years ago, and the company states that it has operated through a challenging period for agriculture, with the tractor industry in southwest Wales dropping by 36%. It says that these factors directly affected the sustainability of the depot.
Team members are being offered relocation to the company’s Narberth site.
“This has been a difficult decision,” said Simon Amos, director of Tallis Amos Group. “We are incredibly proud of the team at Llanllwni and the work they’ve done to support our customers over the past three years. However, bringing our Southwest Wales operations together at Narberth will allow us to strengthen our resources, improve efficiency, and continue providing the exceptional service our customers deserve. Our commitment to serving the farming community in Southwest Wales remains as strong as ever.”
