From the 7th to the 9th of December at the Biogas Trade Fair in Nuremberg, Vogelsang will exhibit its wide product portfolio for anaerobic digestion, including solutions for pumping, cutting and disintegration technologies, as well as systems to deal with solid matter. This will include the first public showing of the XSplit separator.

“For biogas plant operators, the separator enables optimal preparation of digestate for further use in downstream processes. And that with a very good cost-benefit ratio,” said Rainer Zobel, director sales EU industry, wastewater & biogas at Vogelsang.

The XSplit takes proven Vogelsang technology for solid and liquid separation and adapts it to be more user friendly. It comprises a different design and refined maintenance compared to other separators on the market and is said to be simple to set up, with adjustable degrees of dewatering. It also features a reliable plug formation system at startup without the need for auxiliary agents.

There will also be an opportunity to see the DisRuptor, a pre-assembled system for mechanical disintegration. Once on-site, the DisRuptor only needs to be set up, connected, and ready for immediate use. According to the company, it has already proven itself to be an input saver in the field, with mechanical disintegration increasing gas yield and reducing the number of needed inputs, as well as reducing power consumption.

Vogelsang will exhibit in Hall 9 on stand D28 at the Biogas Trade Fair.
