ASAP UK announces new range of extended length gloves for agriculture

ASAP Pro X-Tended Latex PF Features

ASAP UK, a leading manufacturer of personal protective equipment (PPE), has launched the Pro X-Tended Latex gloves which are 400mm long to protect wearers up to the elbow. This is particularly important for those handling dangerous chemicals, or who are exposed to other substances, as they offer greater protection against splashes.

The company states that these gloves are perfectly suited to the agricultural sector. Every glove in the range is powder-free and designed for optimum comfort and durability, as well as meeting the EN455 standard for single-use, which includes tests for penetration resistance.

Madan Natarajan, general manager at ASAP UK, commented: “Our extended length gloves are very popular in many environments, but especially where there is a danger of harmful chemical splashing as they protect much further up the arm. We believe those working in the agriculture sector, in particular, will find them ideally suited to the challenging environments in which they operate.”

All ASAP UK gloves are manufactured, inspected and packaged with no direct skin contact; going straight from the machine to the box. The company also manufactures medical-grade face masks, which include a layer to protect against splashes.
