Yorkshire-based firm JF Hudson has been appointed the exclusive distributor for Austrian manufacturer Samo Maschinenbau GmbH, covering the UK and Irish markets.
“This deal marks the start of an exciting new era for us. The Samo in row weeder has many unique features and pushes the boundaries of inter row weeding. Farmers throughout the UK and Ireland can now benefit from a fresh, innovative solution for weed control that delivers real returns on investment,” said James Hudson, managing director of JF Hudson Farming.
The VarioChop weeder from Samo is said to be user-friendly, with a variable row spacing system to protect the cash crop, all done from the tractor cab.
