The Agricultural Engineers Association (AEA) is reporting that registrations performed much better in March, after being below the seasonal average for all of 2025 and the first two months of 2026.
There was a 45.6% increase year-on-year, totalling 2,134 in March. This was also slightly above the average for the last five years.
March is typically the peak month for registrations, coinciding with a new registration mark, the end of the tax year and the start of field work.
This year, the figure was higher than any of the previous years, as is the total so far for 2026, which is now 2,992; an increase of 34.3%.
