The latest land-forming technology will be shown on the Mastenbroek stand at Cereals, on the 11th and 12th of June.
This will include the PTx Trimble WM-FieldForm; a new generation of complex land-forming technology for grading and levelling projects.
According to PTx Trimble, the resulting water management benefits can increase yields by up to 30%.
It provides single scraper control for forming field surfaces into optimal shapes, using the Precision-IQ software in the GFX-1260 display for improved visualisation and auto-design features.
“We have been at the forefront of designing and manufacturing agricultural drainage trenchers for 60 years and have always looked to incorporate the latest innovations into our machines, whether that be mechanical, electrical or software,” says Fred Clarke, Mastenbroek’s technical director.
“In the last five years or so, we have seen the benefits that land forming can deliver, and it is something that is increasingly being utilised by British contractors and farmers looking to maximise yields. The new WM-FieldForm system takes things one step further.”
In addition to scraper control, it’s possible to create topographic surveys of fields, with boundaries, interior points and calculations to report the actual acreage using tools such as WM-Survey II.
