McConnel’s new Power Arm 67-series launched

McConnel has introduced its new-look 67-series, adding to its existing range of Power Arms.

With reach options from 5.0m to 7.0m and powered by a 70hp hydraulic system, it marks the arrival of the company’s next-generation of Power Arms.

New features of the machine include the hydraulic tank which incorporates a two-piece rear guard and polypropylene top cover and a new rear guard, hinged at one side to enable quick opening. Options include five different armsets, including 5.5m and 6.0m straight-arms, 6.5m and 7.0m telescopic arms, and a 6.0m Variable Forward Reach (VFR). The VFR allows for enhanced visibility and comfort as well as aiding manoeuvrability around obstacles and working in confined environments.

McConnel’s advanced arm features are all standard on the 67-series, including Hy-reach geometry, parallel arm geometry, and Power Slew.

The machine’s 70hp gear hydraulic system utilises McConnel’s in-house designed and manufactured hydraulic valve blocked. The system includes electric rotor control, Soft-Start rotor engagement and a high-capacity oil cooler as standard.

All models utilise a heavy-duty mainframe designed for 3-point linkage mounting.  Users looking to add further stability or to reduce stresses on tractor linkage can opt for either the 4-point hitch or 5-point axle mounting sub-frame, both of which can be retrofitted. Additionally, the 67-Series is available with a comprehensive range of attachments including 1.2m, 1.5m and 1.6m flailheads, sawheads, rotary heads and cutterbars.
