Kverneland will unveil its new Alentix fertiliser spreader at Cereals this year.
Sitting above the Extacta TL, the new flagship is Isobus-controlled and boasts a hopper capacity of 4,700 litres, with a spread-width of 54m.
To ease the changeover of the capacity, the hopper extensions are no longer bolted together, but use a clip system.
Four weigh cells are included as standard, working in combination with dual reference sensors. The machine is also available with mechanical drive or the company’s iDC driveline.
A two-piece spreading disc is used, with a choice of eight vane setups to suit the material being spread. A new honeycomb profile hopper grid is also said to improve the flow of material, while Rapid Rate speeds up regulation of the application rate.
In addition, the rear cover can be folded down to create a walkway across the rear of the hopper.
