The Agricultural Engineers Association (AEA) has announced that tractor registrations dropped by nearly 15% in April, compared to the same month last year.
Despite being a smaller drop than those seen in the first quarter, the 986 machines registered in April represented a 14.9% decrease year-on-year.
It brings the 2025 total to 3,214 machines, 20.6% lower than in the same period in 2024 – a drop of 800 registrations. This is the lowest total across the first four months since 2001.
