The slowdown in tractor registrations continued in May, according to figures from the Agricultural Engineers Association (AEA).
Just 803 machines were registered in May, a year-on-year reduction of 16.7%. While higher than the figure recorded in 2020, it is only around 80% of the five-year average for this time of year.
It brings the total for 2025 up to 4,017 machines, a reduction of 19.9% compared to the same period in 2024. The AEA states that this is around 75% of the five-year average.
