New informational resource for sheep farmers

UK sheep producers can now access free flock management information, simple recording tools and ‘How to Vaccinate’ videos online as part of MSD Animal Health’s Project LAMB initiative.

Hosted on the company’s notonmyfarm.co.uk information and social media hub, a farmer educational resource encouraging ruminant livestock producers to take a positive attitude to disease prevention, the Project LAMB materials highlight the benefits of a proactive approach to flock health.

“Our Project LAMB initiative is designed to help UK sheep producers produce healthy lambs, to focus on flock well-being and to maximise flock performance to meet the demands of both consumers and the food chain. By hosting all the useful information available on one easily accessible web-based hub, we hope it will become a valuable ‘one-stop’ resource for sheep producers and their advisors,” said Sean Riches from MSD Animal Health.

To access the flock health resource go to: http://www.notonmyfarm.co.uk/lamb/index.aspx, also follow us at www.twitter.com/projectlambuk and like us at www.facebook.com/projectlambuk where we would love to hear about life on your farm.
