On February 24th, 2025, Tallis Amos Group (TAG) signed the Military Covenant at Silverstone Circuit, reaffirming its support for veterans’ transition to civilian employment.

Tallis Amos Group are now one of multiple networks of UK businesses actively supporting veterans, ensuring fair opportunities for service leavers while recognising their value.

This partnership builds on John Deere’s work with the Military Hire Programme (MHP) to provide fair opportunities for service leaders.

The Military Programme launched in 2023 to offer a structured pathway to join John Deere’s UK and Ireland dealer network. Tallis Amos Group and John Deere have provided skill-based training, UK support and employment opportunities within the dealer network.

Managing director Ben Tallis commented: “As a business, we are delighted to help service leavers as they transition from the armed forces to civilian life. They arrive with us having received system-specific training in our machinery and have consistently proven themselves to be some of our most dedicated and talented team members. Their commitment and professionalism are demonstrated time and time again.”

Programme graduate and Tallis Amos employee, Martin Frodsham, adds: “I thank TAG for being the first to enterprise veterans into agricultural engineering. John Deere has given us the tools and opportunity self-motivated veterans needed to make a mark on this industry.”
