The Agricultural Engineers Association (AEA) is reporting that registrations of agricultural tractors above 50hp continued to rise in March.
While March is normally the peak month for registrations each year, the 2021 figure of 2,085 was 14.9% higher than in 2020 and is the highest monthly figure reported since March 2012. In that time, it is also the first time more than 2,000 machines have been registered in a single month.
It brings the 2021 total up to 3,259 machines, 12.7% more than in the same period of 2020.
