Trelleborg Wheel Systems has launched the XP800 range for forklifts, with a choice of compounds to suit different operations. The standard black multipurpose compound is designed to offer good wear, rolling resistance and overall performance. The specialised white non-marking compound has been developed for improved heat dissipation and to keep concrete floors clean and mark-free.

Designed for medium intensity material handling, the XP800 has an extra-wide tread and new profile, suitable for working both indoors and outdoors. The tread design is said to reduce vibrations, enhance handling performance and improved stability when working indoors, while the lateral block design and deep tread offer good performance and traction outdoors.

It’s also said to be more sustainable, with a new fibre compound layer combined with the tread pattern to reduce wear.

Luca Sabelli, product manager of material handling at Trelleborg Wheel Systems, said: “In today’s multitude of material handling operations, having the right solution is key to maximizing efficiency. At Trelleborg, we have developed a unique rating system with easy to recognise labels to help customers effortlessly identify which tire suits their needs according to the application’s intensity. The XP800 is specifically designed to be the perfect choice for medium intensity applications, delivering a solid performance and minimizing downtime to keep costs under control.”

The XP800 is available in a wide range of sizes, including low aspect ratio models and 20-inch tyres for more severe applications.
