Agricast to bring new low disturbance point to Lamma

Agricast, which supplies specialist wearing parts, will introduce the GLX 150 Ultra at Lamma 2025. It expands the company’s range of grassland points and joins the existing LDX and STX low disturbance models.

It’s similar to the GLX Ultra, with tungsten chip hard facing on the shin, a large tungsten tile on the nose and a high chrome hard facing on the nose and wings. Additional tungsten has been added to the wings to offer increased protection.

As the product name suggest, the point is 150mm wide as opposed to the standard GLX which is 112mm.

One customer from North Lincolnshire is impressed with the product, saying: “The addition of Tungsten chip hard facing onto the GLX-Ultra points this year has made them the best lasting point that I have ever used, the shin just sits there now, and it must last 50% longer than before.”

    Celebrations at Lamma

As well as launching the GLX 150 Ultra, the company will celebrate six years of the High Strength Wheel, and launch the GRX low disturbance point, specifically designed for Grange Machinery products.

“We appear to have found the sweet spot of performance, durability and value for money with our GLX range, which has made it incredibly popular,” says William Robinson, Agricast’s managing director. “We always enjoy LAMMA, and we’re very much looking forward to introducing people to the latest additions to our range.”
