Stocks Ag appoints new sales manager

Sean Stanfield has taken on the role of sales manager at Stocks Ag, with responsibility for the sales team and managing sales of the range of aftermarket wheels and applicators in the UK and abroad.

He brings more than 30 years of experience to the role, including as group combine sales specialist for a machinery dealer, as well as previously running his own import and distribution business.

Sean says “When the opportunity came along, I knew I had to go for it, my experience within the machinery sales and agricultural engineering sector means I have a deep understanding of customers’ needs and I already knew the Stocks product well. Stocks being a UK manufacturer is a real bonus and the company’s expansion is something I am proud to be part of.

“The Stocks Ag product is well suited to not only the UK but worldwide market and I am looking forward to expanding the range into new dealers, OEM’s and further territories over the coming years.”

James Woolway, Stocks Ag managing director commented, “Sean’s extensive practical knowledge of agricultural machinery is a true asset to the business, his knowledge of the UK dealer network and agricultural market, alongside his appetite for more involvement in export sales means we can set a clear plan for the future of the Stocks Ag brand.”

Sean continues, “I am looking forward to the challenges ahead. We all know the agricultural sector has some challenges to come, but with a strong product range, excellent manufacturing facilities and second-to-none service and back-up I know we will be able to take Stocks Ag from strength to strength and continue to build on the company’s already successful foundations.”
