Turkish manufacturer Tümosan has entered the flagship model of its 81 Evo range, offering 105hp from an in-house-designed four-cylinder engine. Torque levels are 450Nm, and maintenance costs are reduced thanks to 500hr service intervals.
Power is put to the ground through a 30×15 mechanical gearbox, capable of reaching 40kph at 1,700rpm. Forward and reverse are controlled through a power shuttle, and forward gears have a Hi-Lo for quick adjustments under load. The gearstick is also fitted with a declutch button for easier shifting.
Two engine memory speeds are available.
The cab includes an air-suspended seat and digital dashboard, as well as a clean, intuitive control panel on the right-hand side. The rear hitch is electronically controlled, while the pto is electro-hydraulic, with two speeds (either 540/540 Eco, or 540/1,000). Three remote valves are available, as well as dual-line hydraulic trailer braking.
Notably, Tümosan matches the relatively simple build with an electric architecture that it believes will enable it to meet the future needs of farmers. Seven ECUs are included in the build, enabling Isobus compatibility, guidance systems and telemetry, with plans to include artificial intelligence in the future to guide on fuel efficiency, maintenance and component life, and wider farm management systems.
