Amazone adds cost-effective Catros to disc harrow range

Amazone has launched the Catros+ 6003-2TS Special, a weight-optimised and cost-effective variant of its trailed compact disc harrow.

Available in a 6m working width, it is said to be ideal for shallow tillage, working down between 5cm and 14cm, and operating at speeds up to 18kph.

It dispenses with added tools, such as front-mounted equipment, seeder boxes or the consolidating roller to leave a simple, robust frame. Thanks to this, all configurations of the machine have an axle load of less than 3.5t.

As standard, it has a Cat 3 lower linkage, fully hydraulic depth adjustment and 510mm coarse serrated discs. A choice of rollers are available to suit conditions.

It also features the Smart Frame System, enabling the depth to be adjusted on the move. Additionally, the bogey chassis can be moved into two different positions; either over the disc elements to provide additional weight, or behind the machine, lifted 50cm off the ground for optimised balance.
