Kverneland has introduced a series of crop protection and nutrition machines ahead of this year’s Agritechnica.
The new additions start with the Arcadia precision harrow. This 12.2m machine features hydraulic, independent adjustment of the tine pressure and angle, enabling it to be set to work at different crop growth stages. The pressure can be changed from 500g to up to 5kg per tine, with testing underway to increase this range further (from 0g).
There are 420 8mm tines laid out in seven rows with a 2.9cm tine spacing. The curved design of the tines and automatic tine lift is said to protect the crop during operation, while the underbeam clearance of 55cm enables work to be done in ridged fields. The five-section frame can be supported by up to 10 wheels to minimise soil impact and tractor track eradicators are available as an option.
A limited edition will be available in 2026, with full production due to start at the end of next year. The company also plans to add seeding solutions to the Arcadia.
Crop protection and nutrition

Three new technologies have been added to the company’s range of sprayers. The first is a closed transfer system, enabling chemical to be transferred from the container to the sprayer tank with almost no user exposure. According to the company, the induction points across the range can be adapted to integrate this system.
Also available is the iXflow-Pulse pulse width modulation system, which maintains the spraying pressure regardless of forward speed or application rate to offer a consistent droplet size. Added to this is the iXcurve system, which adjusts the output from one side of the boom to the other during turning manoeuvres to maintain the application rate even as the speed of the boom varies.
Finally, sprayers can now also be fitted with DAT Ecopatch; an AI-driven vision system that identifies weed patches in both green-on-brown and green-on-green scenarios and only applies chemical in these patches. It’s suitable for work in wheat and other cereals, as well as oilseed rape.
New flagship spreader
Geoff Ashcroft/Kverneland Group
The final product is a new flagship fertiliser spreader. The Alentix disc spreader is available with capacities from 2,375 litres up to 4,700 litres, with spreading widths up to 54m. A new RapidRate dosing system provides instantaneous adjustment of the dosing based on the driving speed and variable rate application maps, using a patented square dosing unit mounted above a redesigned RotaFlow 100 spreading system for work in hilly terrains.
This new RotoFlow is said to provide gentle fertiliser flow for an accurate spreading pattern, with a 100deg of movement at the timings bush for precise section control.
Four weighcells are fitted, along with a dual reference sensor for automatic weighing while on the move. This only measures the hopper weight, enabling it to be fully integrated into the spreader, and the spreader to fit exactly with the tractor linkage to maintain a safe centre of gravity and reduce the lifting requirements.
For operator safety, the rear cover can fold down to act as a platform for filling or hopper checking, provided with a ladder for improved access.
