For only the third time in its 200-year history, Cheffins will be hosting an on-site vintage and classic tractor sale in Northern Ireland.
The sale will comprise more than 60 vintage and classic tractors, on behalf of three private collectors, with all lots based in Newtownards and Ballymena. The auction will run from the 13th to the 24th of March.
One of the highlights will be a 1970s County 1254, estimated to raise £50,000-£60,000. It’s joined by a 1990s Ford 7610 Series II (£14,000-£16,000) and a 1990s New Holland 8670 (£20,000-£25,000).
In addition, there will be a series of collectable Ford vintage tractors, including a 6000 Commander from the 1960s.
Joe Page, director at Cheffins Machinery Department, comments: “We were delighted to be instructed on this important sale. With a varied catalogue put together by three vintage tractor collectors and long-standing clients of Cheffins, we will be looking forward to seeing many of our regulars on their home turf in Northern Ireland.
“As we continued to expand our programme of machinery auctions both on-farm and at our saleground near Cambridge, we will be looking to host further sales in Ireland as it continues to be one of the leading sources of historic machinery.”
