The Agricultural Engineers Association (AEA) has announced that tractor registrations in January 2026 were up 8.7% compared to the same month in 2025.
The total of 502 machines registered was 40 more than the previous year, and the highest number registered in January since 2021, although the AEA points out that figures in recent years have been similar.
It adds that January is a quiet time for registrations, meaning that it is too early to draw conclusions about how trends may develop during 2026.
