First introduced at Lamma, NRH Engineering has added three new folding models to the Tremor range, with shearbolt protection or auto-reset. Working widths of 4m, 5m and 6m are available, and each variant folds down to 2.8m. Like the other machines in the range, they are manufactured using SJ355 high tensile box sections.
At the front is a row of 450mm serrated straight cutting discs, made from boron steel, followed by 20mm thick low-disturbance legs, which are made from Hardox. The feet are cast, with differing levels of tungsten and tungsten carbide protection.
Customers have the option of one of two packers: a 650mm diameter toothed packer for an aerated, consolidated finish, or a 650mm pressed steel packer with castellated rings. The toothed roller is said to eliminate soil smear and can be ballasted for extra consolidation, while the ringed unit can rotate in light and medium soils and features an aggressive rib and shoulder profile.
Each machine is finished with hydraulic disc and packer adjustment for control from the cab.
