John Deere has introduced the 5EN tractor range, designed to work in vineyards and orchards, as well as greenhouses and confined, traditional work environments.
Three models will be offered, with wheelbases of 1,950 or 2,250mm and maximum widths of just 1.35m or 1.7m. Each is powered by John Deere’s PowerTech engines, delivering up to 106hp on the flagship.
The 5075EN requires no DEF, while the rest of the range has been optimised to use just 3% to keep operating costs low.
All three machines use the PowrReverser transmission, brought across from the 5E and available in 12×12 or 24×12 configurations.
The rear lift can handle up to 2.4t, while the front linkage has a maximum capacity of 1.4t. Each model is completed with JDLink and can be fitted with AutoTrac Universal 300, enabling aftermarket guidance systems to be fitted.
Designed to offer a long working life, even in difficult conditions, the 5EN comes with metal fenders, fuel tank shielding and the option of underbelly protection. A 500hr service interval is standard.
