Building on the success of its flagship UTV3022 work light, UTV Products has unveiled two new additions to its premium lighting range – the 90W, 7,200-lumen square work lights with integrated Daytime Running Lights (DRL) and strobe functionality.
Available in both White/Amber (UTV3022-1) and Red/Amber DRL (UTV3022-2) configurations, the new models have been developed to meet the growing demand for high-performance lighting that combines exceptional illumination with enhanced on-road safety.
Rather than simply adding warning functions to an existing product, UTV Products’ engineering team took the proven optical platform, lens technology and thermal management principles from the UTV3023 and developed a versatile solution capable of serving multiple industries where visibility and safety are equally important.
Ben Bonell, project engineer at UTV Products, explained: “What sets the UTV3023 apart is its exceptional LUX readings, advanced lens design and highly efficient heat sink. It’s a light full of cutting-edge technology without ever compromising on looks. The perfect balance of performance and design.”
Those same engineering principles underpin the new 90W models. The development process included detailed CAD design, thermal analysis, prototype manufacture, extensive field testing and refinement to ensure the lights deliver maximum performance while maintaining UTV Products’ distinctive OEM-style appearance and long-term reliability.
Designed for Real-World Applications
The new lights have already proven themselves in demanding working environments. Martin Jones of Martin Tree Care has recently had the new lights fitted to his Valtra T174, where they support work both on public highways and in the field. Tree surgery often involves travelling between sites on busy roads before working in poorly lit rural locations, making the combination of powerful work lighting and integrated strobe functionality invaluable.
The lights have also recently been installed on James Harper’s JCB Pothole Pro, where operators require outstanding forward visibility for night-time highway work while remaining highly visible to passing traffic. The integrated amber warning function provides a clean installation by allowing the DRL to be linked into the vehicle’s beacon circuit, reducing the need for additional warning lights when working on the road or at night.
One Light, Multiple Industries
While developed with agricultural machinery in mind, the new lights have been engineered for a wide variety of professional applications.
For agriculture, operators transporting silage, straw or machinery between fields can utilise the amber DRL connected to the vehicle’s beacon system to improve visibility on public roads before switching seamlessly to high-output work lighting once back in the field.
For highway maintenance, local authorities and contractors benefit from powerful illumination for night working alongside integrated warning capability, helping operators remain visible without compromising lighting performance.
The lights are equally suited to forestry, construction, utilities, plant hire and recovery vehicles—anywhere operators regularly transition between road travel and demanding off-road working conditions.
