Designed specifically for operations in hilly areas, Pichon has introduced two new SV tanker models, offering 10,500 and 14,500 litres.
Positioned between the existing SV8R and SV12R, the smaller SV10R is said to provide compact dimensions, with a 5.3m wheelbase; a metre shorter than the SV12R. It’s available in 1.8m and 2.15m axle widths and can be fitted with 38in wheels if required.
It can be further combined with applicators, including trailing shoes and dribble bars.
The SV14R is designed to increase possible capacities while still keeping the power requirement low, with tractors under 150hp said to be capable of handling the unit.
It can be equipped with a BP2 filling arm, dipping arm or turret arm, and incorporates proven solutions from the SV range, including the same tank diameter as the SV16 and a BPW tandem axle.
Christophe Marzin, product manager, explains: “With the SV10R and SV14, we are expanding the SV range with two highly anticipated intermediate capacities. The SV10R meets the need for greater compactness and manoeuvrability, particularly in areas with difficult access, while the SV14 offers an excellent balance between capacity, versatility and power requirements. These two models reflect our commitment to providing machinery that meets real-world farming needs, is designed to last and supports the evolution of spreading practices.”
