Agri-Spread to offer new horizontal beater muckspreader

Agri-Spread International, which distributes its products in the UK through PK Sales, has announced a newly developed range of horizontal beater & spinning disc rear discharge muckspreaders for 2023.

The Pro+ HBS Series features twin horizontal rotors over large rotating discs and are designed to increase output and enable the precision spreading of manures, composts and bulk materials. It complements the company’s existing range of vertical beater spreaders.

Models are available with 14, 16 and 18-tonne capacities, each offering an internal floor width of 1,600mm, with narrower, 1,500mm models coming in the future. The gearbox/shaft-driven rotors are equipped with boron flights, with 12mm tips to finely shred and chop material before dropping it onto the 1,085mm diameter discs, with twin paddles, which spread the material up to 24m.

The fully-welded construction includes double 20mm, grade 80 floor chains and a galvanised, heavy-duty box profile, with quick-fit single slats along the floor. The floor speed can be variably adjusted from the tractor cab.

A hydraulic, double-acting slurry door and rear rotor canopy door, with a spring-loaded hood drop point, can be optioned; while drawbar options include fixed, swivel or spoon hutch, with the option of a sprung drawbar. Pneumatic or hydraulic braking can be specified.

Full ISOBUS rate control is available, and the machines can be completed with weigh cells.
