John Deere launches new Gator UTV

The Gator utility vehicle range has been extended with the diesel XUV 875M, offering an increased cargo capacity, enhanced comfort and improved functionality.

It’s powered by a 22.8hp engine, with a fuel tank capacity of 42.4 litres. It has a seating capacity of three people, with comfort provided by the fully independent suspension with 203mm of travel at the front, and 229mm at the rear, and the cargo box can hold 454kg.

The design of the rear suspension has been updated, with new shock absorbers to boost the comfort. Other improvements include moving the air intake 30cm higher to protect the engine, while the new CVT air intake and exhaust help to protect it from debris, water and mud.

At the rear, the cargo box has been widened to boost capacity and minimise mud sling from the tyres, and a 12v power port has been added. Five divider slots along the side, with three at the front, help to secure items and it is possible to create a second level of storage.

The tailgate has been redesigned to provide a flat work surface, with metric and imperial measurements, a V-groove for cutting materials such as piping, and cup holders.

Peter Nelder, product manager for Gator Utility Vehicles & Compact Utility Tractors in Europe, said: “The redesigned cargo box on the Gator XUV 875M is a very significant improvement, offering more space and functionality for our customers. The added width and integrated clamping points provide users with greater flexibility and convenience, making it easier to carry and secure a variety of items.”

The Gator XUV 875M will be available to dealers from spring 2025. For more information go to www.deere.co.uk
