    New options for Fendt Rotana

The Rotana range of round balers from Fendt will now be available with a host of new options. Firstly, the Rotana 130 F Combi machine can be specified with an onboard film wrapping option, said to reduce losses from frost damage. For added versatility, when moving from silage to straw, for example, net wrapping is still possible, with the position of the rollers providing quick changeover between the systems.

Other new features include a clean water tank with a soap dispenser so that operators can wash their hands after changing film or netting rolls, or performing maintenance. A new hydraulic support foot can also be equipped on 130 F Combi and 160 V Combi machines.

On variable balers, net shaft wrapping repositions the rollers for reliable outfeed even in tough conditions, and finally, 130 F, 160 V and 180 V machines can be fitted with a second set of knives and mounting bracket, meaning that the operator can change out the knives if required.
