For the 2026 grass season, McHale has introduced new models to its V6 and V8 variable chamber round baler ranges. The V6750-II & V8950-II are Isobus compatible as standard, enabling tractor implement management functionality, to control certain tractor functions to maintain output and bale shape. Additionally, commonly used functions can be assigned to keys on the McHale terminal, if optioned.
The balers use the Profi-Flo pick-up with Adaptive Intake, available as a five-tine cam track unit, or the optional six-tine camless system. These feed into a tapered feed channel and are fitted with a heavy duty driveline to minimise maintenance.
Load cell bale shape indicators are mounted on each door for accurate bale shape feedback through the in-cab terminal, and Active Density Control electronically varies the pressure regulation at different points of the baling process to improve formation. Other new features include quick attach wheels and a larger oil tank; additive control is available and the options list includes cameras, headland management for additive application and bale moisture recording.
