Boasting a unique design, the BCS Fighter K90 is designed to be a narrow machine with a low centre of gravity. It has a maximum power rating of 74hp, produced by a four-cylinder Kubota engine, kicking out 310Nm of torque at 1,500rpm.
Power is put to the ground through an in-house developed mechanical transmission, with eight synchronised speeds and a power split for 16×16 gears, capable of running from 0.7kph up to 40kph. The overlap between gears means that several sit within the ideal working speeds, and there is a mechanical power shuttle for switching between forward and reverse.
The cabin has a sleek design with mechanical suspension, offering a low-profile seat and the option of category 4 filtration for spraying operations. The cab design means that the machine has a height of just 1,700mm, with a minimum width of 1,363mm, making this ideal for orchard work.
According to the company, it has a noise level of less than 60dB. It comes with a full telemetry package, through the Agri 4.0 system, that also enables geofencing and the possibility to wirelessly send task data to an in-cab screen.
It’s possible to equip up to seven mechanical spool valves at the rear, fed by an open-centre hydraulic system that can produce 28 litres/min as standard, or be uprated to 49 litres/min. An independent steering system of 33 litres/min is also fitted. The maximum lift capacity of the rear linkage is 2,700kg, dropping to 1,100mm at the ball ends, while the electrohydraulic pto runs at 540rpm or 540eco, with the option of a 1,000rpm system.
Ground clearance can be as low as 200mm, depending on the tyres shod on the machine, and the Fighter K90 has a steering angle of 45deg, providing a steering radius of 2,623mm. Its maximum operating weight is 3,500kg, split 58/42 to the front and rear.
