A regular in the Tractor of the Year competition, Landini has entered its 6-125 RS utility machine. It’s powered by an FPT engine, producing 119hp, with 518Nm of torque available at 1,300rpm. The company states a fuel consumption figure 227g/kWh, with the 40kph top speed achievable at 1,600rpm.
The gearbox is developed in-house. An Argo powershift system, available with either four or six steps for a maximum of 36×36 gears. Unusually for a machine of this size, it can reach a top speed 56kph, but sits comfortably at 40kph at just 1,600rpm.
To manage these speeds safely, internal disc brakes are fitted to the front and rear of the machine, along with an integrated engine brake system and a manual park brake. Hydraulic and pneumatic trailing braking is also available.
An open-centre hydraulic pump is fitted as standard, with the option to swap over to a closed-centre, load-sensing unit, with a maximum oil flow of 120 litres/min. At the rear, three mechanical valves are standard, with the option to add two electrohydraulic units, and up to three spools can be fitted at the front of the machine. The rear linkage has a maximum capacity of 7,200kg, with the optional front system lifting 2,250kg.
The options list includes mechanical cab suspension working alongside the standard hydraulic front axle suspension, as well as a fully suspended seat. The cabin has been overhauled to provide greater space and visibility, with a new ergonomic armrest which includes the SmartPilot+ joystick. For loader work, there is also a roof window.
For precision farming, the 6-125 comes guidance-ready, with the option of an RTK correction system. It also has an Isobus connection, and links to the company’s fleet management system with a dealer link-up for proactive maintenance. A step further is the Landini Farm Management System, which enables task data to be sent wirelessly to the machine.
