The Swiss-built Aebi Terratrac implement carrier celebrates 50 years with a series of updates.
Power comes from a 75.3hp Kubota four-cylinder engine, producing 225Nm of torque, available at 1,600Nm. Torque rise is 15.4%, and a turbocharger makes up the standard fitment.
The cooling system has been revised, with a new air intake at the top of the hood, and the fan has been swapped out for an intelligently powered hydraulic system, which will automatically adjust the power input depending on the need. The fan is also reversible and can run at operator-set intervals.
Power is put to the ground through a stepless hydrostatic transmission, comprising Bosch Rexroth components. It can reach a maximum speed of 40kph at 1,800rpm. Four steering modes are standard: front-axle, all-wheel, rear-axle and crab steer.
It is built around a 2,100mm wheelbase, which has been updated at several points to improve performance. The permissible total weight has been increased by 11.4% compared to the previous model, to 3,900kg. Axle loads have also been boosted to 2,200kg, up 15.7%.
Both the front and rear linkage can lift 1,700kg, an increase of 30.7% at the front and 41.6% at the rear, with hydraulic weight transfer and shock absorbers.
The hydraulic system is rated to 30 litres/min as standard, with the option to increase it to 43 litres, with proportional activation and up to three double-acting valves at each end.
This model is also entered into the Sustainable category.
