Claydon has announced a series of distribution deals across central and south east Europe, expanding its export business.
In Romania, IPSO Agricultura, part of the Monnoyeur Group, will offer the company’s range of crop establishment equipment. IPSO has previously offered Claydon machines across Croatia and Turkey and employs over 500 staff across 21 sales and service outlets.
Dan Gidea, marketing director for IPSO, states: ”Challenging market conditions and an unpredictable environment are forcing Romanian farmers to find new solutions to remain viable. As the agricultural machinery market leader we have always supported our customers by providing innovative, sustainable solutions.
“Our new partnership with Claydon reflects that commitment. Its crop establishment solutions combine financial and environmental sustainability, rooted in the Claydon family’s love for the soil and farming.”
Simon Revell, Claydon’s export sales manager, adds. “We are delighted to announce this new partnership with IPSO Agricultura. As one of the most important agricultural producers in Europe, Romania offers tremendous opportunities for both companies.
“We share a similar outlook and a commitment to helping farming businesses to improve efficiency, cut costs and increase profitability. These priorities will become increasingly important, so providing Romanian farmers with a modern, efficient and sustainable crop establishment solution will deliver major benefits.”
IPSO has already taken delivery of four Hybrid T trailed drills: two 4m machines and two 6m.
Claydon has also partnered with the Zikmund family in Czech and Slovakia, who offer a range of agricultural brands through KVG Czech, TopAgri and KBT Profitech.
“With strategic depots and dealer partners across both regions Claydon will have fantastic coverage providing huge opportunity for growth together,” says Tomas Zikmund.
Simon Revell adds: “Core family values are a key point in our search for partners that have the same philosophy as Claydon, providing cost-effective solutions which help farmers to improve their profitability. This is something both businesses wholeheartedly agree on.”
Finally, in Serbia, Claydon has partnered with AgroTech PMD d.o.o., which operates across nine depots in Serbia and Bosnia. It has added a 7.5m straw harrow and a 3m Evolution mounted drill to its demo fleet.
“At AgroTech, we strive to keep pace with advances in agricultural technology and make them available to farmers. Supporting sustainable, efficient crop production is a priority, and we believe that Opti-Till offers a genuinely forward-looking approach. Through our partnership with Claydon, we are delighted to make this technology and its benefits more accessible to our farming customers,” explains Imres Bata.
