Danish cultivation and roller specialist Dalbo A/S has been sold to Persefone S.r.l., itself owned by the Italian capital fund Alcedo sgr. Within the organisation is Demetra, which produces the BreviAgri and AgriMaster brands.
In a statement from DalBo, the takeover will not entail any changes to the company which will continue to operate as an independent producer, with production continuing in Denmark. The current management structure will also continue unchanged.
The agreement will also not impact any existing collaboration agreements or customer relationships. Instead, DalBo states that the new ownership will increase investment in development, production and digitisation, and provide customers with the best products at competitive prices.
