Wiltshire distributor and manufacturer, Kidd Farm Machinery highlighted a series of new additions to the range.
Lamma was one of the first opportunities to see the Wrag post knocker brand since the company was acquired by Kidd back in March. On the stand was one of the tracked self-propelled post knockers, which Kidd states will be a key product going forward.
It adds that Kidd’s in-house manufacturing will enable them to make more components on site, increasing the strength of the Wrag portfolio while also reducing the weight. It also provides the potential for an autonomous platform in the future.
Alongside Wrag, the company has also acquired Somerset company Bushpig, bringing in the netter, a tractor-mounted unit which will unroll fencing wire and hydraulically apply tension ahead of stapling.
Kidd reportedly sees big opportunities to combine the Wrag and Bushpig portfolios and integrate the netter onto the self-propelled post knocker.
