Ktwo driving forward after administration concerns

As a leading agricultural machinery company for more than 35 years, Ktwo Machinery has long been one of the most trusted names in British manufacturing. Yet by early 2024, the company faced significant uncertainty as administrators became involved.

James Rooney, director of Redrock Machinery, recognised an opportunity to revive and strengthen the brand: “The synergies between Ktwo and Redrock were undeniable – Redrock’s expertise in liquid manure distribution went hand-in-hand with Ktwo’s work in dry manure spreading. Ktwo’s muckspreaders are synonymous with quality. It seemed like a perfect fit.”

Redrock’s subsequent acquisition of the company has resulted in K-Two going from strength to strength. James attributes this growth over the past 18 months to a number of factors: ‘continuity, quality, innovation, and customer support.’

    Built on strong foundations

Terry Kelloway and Ashley Knibb, Ktwo’s founders, continue to play a central role in the new team. With over 35 years of experience in the market, Terry’s business and sales expertise is an invaluable asset. Combined with Ashley’s technical design understanding, K-Two have transitioned into a period of strong growth following the acquisition.

Terry says: “The first six months were a bit of a shock to the system. But since then, we have come a long way. We have ensured Ktwo Machinery remains the family company it always was. We are rapidly making inroads and increasing sales. We have retained quality staff, saving 20 jobs. We have also created a significant number of new jobs in Haddenham and will be adding further to these numbers in 2026.”

Ashley adds: “We have a strong vision for the future. We are going to keep improving, bringing new models into the product range, along with upgrading the existing models. We are working really well as a team, and together we can achieve some exciting things.”

Maintaining existing dealer relationships has also contributed to the company’s renewed success. Terry and the team have continued to work with the existing dealer network, whilst forging relationships with a number of new dealers throughout the UK and Europe. The synergies achieved from Redrock and Ktwo coming together has helped broaden the sales area for both.

James adds: “Our recent partnership with the Canadian manufacturer Penta Equipment has highlighted the opportunity for growth internationally for Ktwo and Redrock. Penta identified an opportunity to enhance their product offering by adding the Redrock slurry equipment and the Ktwo muckspreader range to their lineup.”

    Innovation and Customer Support

The introduction of Aaron Ingram as general manager is said to have played a significant part in the rapid growth of Ktwo post-acquisition. Aaron’s previous experience in machine manufacturing and his time at Redrock Machinery left him well placed to take on this role. Aaron has improved efficiency by driving improvements in the manufacturing process.

For aftersales, Conor McKiernan hit the ground running in spare parts and customer support. He understands the importance of supporting the dealers and end-users, drawing from his experience working for a machinery dealership from a young age. Ktwo’s commitment to customer after-sales is demonstrated by their three-year warranty on every machine.

The pair have assisted Terry and Ashley in re-energising the company. Aaron explains: “The team is currently working on upgrading the muckspreader range. With customer feedback at the heart of everything we do, the model upgrades include easier maintenance access, improved material flow, and efficient operation with lower power requirements, along with an updated machine appearance. The upgraded models, along with the addition of new models, will be launched throughout 2026.”

Built in Britain. Built for the future.

Eighteen months on, much has changed at Ktwo Machinery — yet the core values remain the same. Every machine is still British-built, rigorously tested, and comes with a three-year warranty trusted by farmers worldwide. Sales continue to grow from strength to strength. This could not have been achieved without the continued dealer loyalty Ktwo has enjoyed over the years. Ktwo states that it aims to be seen not just as a manufacturer, but as a genuine partner to the farmers and contractors.
