    New – Cattledata Mobile App

As a result of Landmark joining forces with Farmdata in early 2019, the Cattledata Mobile App was born. The two farm software suppliers have a combined experience of more than 65 years and in that time have brought about huge improvements to management systems used in farm offices across the United Kingdom.

The goal now is to help offices reduce the paper trails involved in keeping records. Given that many farmers, operators and stockmen now have smartphones, beginning the move to App based platforms is the obvious progression.

Cattledata Mobile has been developed to complement the well-established and popular Cattledata program, which is already renowned for being one of the most easy to use herd record systems on the market.

Cattledata Mobile now enables users to maintain their cattle records as they happen on their phone or tablet. It has been designed with farmers in mind. The App is logical to navigate and buttons are large enough to be pressed in a hurry.

Occurrences, such as breeding information, health treatments, movements and weighing can be recorded individually, by group or by location, so input is quick.  Users can look up any animal’s record to examine its full history.

All data is then synchronised to and from the Cattledata desktop program, ready for direct submission to national databases if necessary. Along with the EID facility in Cattledata users now have a complete range of options to record cattle information.

Cattledata Mobile App user Stephen, from Inverness says “Having Cattledata on my phone means I can see exactly what has happened to any cow. It’s a real bonus not having to rack my brains or go back to the PC. I am able to record things on the go so I don’t forget them.”
